about us

We’re creating nature soundscapes for indoor spaces that actually behave like nature. No loops, no AI, no repetition, just pure Finnish wilderness that surprises you every time.

Company history

Three innovators from Finland who discovered how to preserve disappearing nature.

Our story began when Stefan, who’d worked with sound his whole life, hit a wall and realized he needed to find his own path to wellbeing. Following a quintessentially Finnish approach, he sought solace in the forest. And kept returning. What started as personal restoration became the foundation for something larger.

Stefan’s recordings revealed the incredible healing power of natural sounds, but reproducing them indoors presented a major challenge. While studying sound therapy and training with wildlife recording masters Chris Watson and Jez Riley French, he accumulated hundreds of hours of pristine natural audio. But here’s the problem: nature follows daily rhythms and constantly evolves, but no audio system could replicate this authentically. Even a perfectly crafted week-long loop following natural daily cycles would eventually reveal itself – you’d start recognizing the sounds and know you’re hearing a repeat.

Andreas, who’d spent years building software for Finland’s biggest tech companies, immediately saw the puzzle. As someone who invents unlikely solutions and thinks like both an engineer and an artist, he understood this wasn’t just about playing audio files – it was about recreating the unpredictable storytelling of nature itself.

André, a natural-born coder and true archipelago native, knew the technical reality: building something this complex that works anywhere in the world while never repeating itself would be a serious challenge. But he also understood why it mattered.

Operating from Ostrobothnia’s UNESCO World Heritage wilderness, Stefan continues expanding our audio library, Andreas develops software for real-time audio composition, and André creates the server infrastructure and remote accessibility that ensure our soundscapes reach people wherever they are – never repeating exactly the same way twice.

We’re not replacing nature experiences. We’re preserving something precious that’s disappearing while providing access to restorative environments when physical access isn’t possible.
