Soundscapes

Nature sounds

We’ve turned field recording into an art form, and Finnish wilderness into our collective studio.
Stefan heads into the wild with state-of-the-art recording gear, building an archive that now holds hundreds of hours of pristine natural audio. We’re talking forests, fields, archipelago waters – sounds captured across all four seasons throughout Ostrobothnia, mainly in the UNESCO World Heritage Kvarken region.

Here’s where our obsession shows: Stefan uses the Drop Rig method, planting recording equipment in remote locations then disappearing completely.
Meanwhile, Andreas builds the brains that make sense of all this audio chaos, creating systems smart enough to weave hundreds of recordings together naturally. André makes sure the whole thing works flawlessly whether you’re in Helsinki or New York.

No humans around means birds actually relax, forest creatures act like themselves, and nature forgets it’s being recorded.
The result? Audio so pure you can practically smell the pine needles.
Every single recording gets meticulously edited to remove any trace of human interference, then tagged with detailed metadata that lets the Eyra Player know exactly what it’s working with.
Spring morning in a birch grove? We’ve got that.
Autumn wind through old-growth pine? Covered.
Winter silence broken only by distant water? Obviously.
The variety is staggering because we never stop exploring new locations, always chasing that perfect moment when wilderness reveals something it’s never shared before.

Musical elements

We’ve transformed sound therapy into a living instrument library, one recording session at a time.
Drawing from Stefan’s background as a certified sound therapist, we capture the healing properties of therapeutic instruments in our professional studio. Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, handcrafted tube chimes, bells, hang drums, HAPI drums – each instrument gets recorded with the same obsessive attention to detail that goes into our wilderness captures. Every time a new therapeutic instrument enters our collection, it gets the full studio treatment.

These aren’t just static recordings sitting in a folder somewhere. Our team has built something unprecedented: technology that weaves these samples into completely new musical landscapes in real time. Think of it as having a sound therapist who never plays the same session twice, but somehow always knows exactly what you need to hear.
The goal isn’t to create background music – it’s to build meditative soundscapes that actually support recovery and rest. Each instrument brings its own frequency signature, its own way of settling into silence, its own relationship with the space around it. When our system combines these elements spontaneously, it creates something that feels both intentional and completely natural.
Studio recordings capture not just the notes, but the way each instrument breathes – the subtle resonances, the way metal rings into silence, how wood and stone create different kinds of space. It’s therapeutic sound design that happens fresh every time you listen.
